Besides being a touring musician I enjoy teaching and for over 30 years have taught piano and guitar to hundreds of students of all ages.

I’m probably best known as a blues, jazz and roots-rock guy but can turn pop, rock, soul, country, jazz, TV/film music ro video game themes into a lesson. I’m patient with beginners, and have found I can help students of all levels improve on their instrument. I sometimes use lesson books, but often create personalized lessons for students using a combination of notation, transcriptions, video and playing by ear. Students can also access my youtube video lessons.
